The Good Beauticians Vs. the Bad Beauticians
The good beauticians vs. The bad beauticians:
Everyone wants and needs a good beautician in their lives, especially if that beautician knows how to do her job.
I know a great beautician by the name of Karyn who loves to tell me her experiences as a hairdresser and says that doing hair is her passion and will not stop until her clients are satisfied with their new look and the many great cuts that she gives them on a daily basis and she said that the trick to being a good beautician is basically all about being attentative and making your clients happy because if you really think about it, if the client isn't happy, then you can't possibly be happy and knowing the proper treatment for your clients hair.
Although, a good hairdresser is about her business and wastes no time procrastinating on making her customers look and feel good, and most of all, a good hairdresser knows the do's and the dont's of doing hair and running a salon ( meaning what to do and what not to do in the presence of others).
Note: a real good beautician knows for a fact that if she wanted to look glamorous and fabulous then most likely she knows that her customers would want to look the same as well.
VIP: A good beautician would want to look the same as well.
A good beautician would tell customers about which product is good and bad for their hair and stepping their game up by doing facials and to make the customers feel great and having to even listen when they have a story to tell without being judgemental and even giving thier own opinions without making the customers feel low or shameful and paying attention to the customers and giving them 100% of your time with lots of attention and not making them feel left out by not asking them what they need and what type of style that they want instead of them sitting down and making them feel neglected with poor service.
Now a bad beautician is the kind of stylist who's always inattentive and will screw a haircut up or any type of style without caring how that customer feels.
You ever go to a salon where it's like a hole in the wall but you take your chances of going there anyway. Now a bad beautician is one that is lazy and just wants to rush doing your hair because they feel that they have another prior engagaement that they want to tend to meanwhile, you're spending your hard earned dollars to get your hair done and you end up getting horrible service.
I once visited a salon where it was just a hole in the wall, but took my chances anyway because it was the last resort and wanted my hair done in a timely manner and that particular hairdresser did nothing but talk on the phone and to all of of her friends that came into the salon while I still had a relaxer in my hair that she was supposed to wash out at a certain amunt of time and had the nerve to have an attitude with me when I asked her if it was time to take the relaxer out of my hair. Ladies, if you've ever experienced this type of treatment, you're not alone.
A word of advice: Be very careful when you're getting your hair done by these amateurs that think they know what they're doing beecause it will be a major lawsuit that you'll end up filing for when someone screws up your hair, especially if there's any hair loss while trying to look fabulous. Then you'll end up saying, "I'm taking you to court!"
Ways you can tell a good beautician from a bad beautician:
The Good Beautician:
-Always on time and ready to work.
-Knows how to greet her customers and treat them with respect and making customers feel comfortable.
-Knows the right products, different types of hair and what to use and how to use them.
( Advises clients what's right for their hair and what product to use on a daily basis by following a regimen).
-Knows how to treat the clients hair.
-Shows compassion, trustworthy, and has good organizational skills.
The Bad Beautician:
-Don't tell customers how to treat hair on a daily basis.
-Rushes through a chemical process.
-Procrastination
-Not listening to the clients request
-Talking on the phone or talking to friends while doing hair (unprofessionalism).
-Bad organizational skills.
So basically, what would you choose, the good or the bad?
I know that I would definitely want to choose and stick with the good beautician if I get a haircut from her and I would want my haircut to look nice and grow into the style that it was cut into. But ladies, if you're going to get a haircut, make sure it gets cut into layers because it's a better look and it grows back fuller.
So when it comes to The good beauticians vs. The bad beauticians, you should have a choice in who you would want to give you great services that you want and need.
